2020-2021 School Year Information

I just wanted to take the time to pass along information about our school year.  We have some changes due to Covid-19.  If changes occur throughout the year, I will update you on those changes.
Masks - We will wear masks or face shields.  The school has provided a mask for each student.  Please make sure to wash the masks daily in order to have proper protection.
SeeSaw - Please download the SeeSaw App and register using the QR Code which was sent home during the meet and greet or on the first day of school.  This will be our way to communicate and also provide you with additional information.
Extended Day - If you need information about extended day, please contact Mrs. Sholar, the school’s office, or contact me and I will pass it along to them.
School Start - Students need to be at school before 7:45.  If you are unable to arrive by 7:45, you will need to sign your child in.
Breakfast - Breakfast will be provided in the classroom free of charge.
Lunch - The regular cost for lunch is $2.50 and reduced is $0.40.  Please make sure your child has sufficient money in their lunch account.  The lunch choice will be a “hot” or “grab & go” meal.  They will not be able to buy extra items or drinks.
If you plan on your child bringing their lunch, please make sure to pack them a drink.  Students will not be allowed to purchase a drink from the lunchroom.
Due to Covid-19, we will not be able to allow visitors for lunch at this time.
Water - Due to Covid-19, the water fountain will not be available to use.  Students will need to bring a disposable bottle of water with their name clearly labeled to keep at their desk.
Birthdays - You will not be allowed to send cupcakes for your child’s birthday this year.  You can send individually wrapped snacks such as Little Debbie Cakes.  You will also need to contact me to make sure there isn’t a conflict with our schedule.
Money - Any money sent to school will need to be in a sealed baggie or envelope clearly labeled with your child’s name and purpose.
Snack - Students will be allowed to bring a small snack.  Please make sure your child has a drink.  We will not be using the water fountains.
